Who We Are
The Mental Health Contractors Association of San Diego (MHCA) is a California 501(c)(6) corporation. MHCA is a non-profit public benefit entity organized for the specific purpose of providing a collective voice for member agencies in matters relating to the effective delivery of quality mental health services on behalf of those we serve in San Diego County.
What We Do
MHCA functions as an advocacy group for all behavioral health contractors in San Diego County. The MHCA Board meets monthly with the County Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Executive Team to discuss concerns, to strengthen ongoing communication, and to foster collaborative and creative solutions to system of care needs.
Additionally, MHCA is an affiliate member of the California Council of Community Behavioral Health Agencies (CCBHA), a statewide advocacy organization representing mental health and substance use disorder nonprofit agencies collectively serving one million Californians.
